How is this different from pasting into ChatGPT?
For ten rows, once, it isn't. The difference is checking 5,000 rows against the same rules on every update, and getting back a categorized, de-duplicated list with suggested fixes. A missing variable is caught by a rule check, not guessed at by an AI.
How are rows counted?
Only changed rows count. Check the same file as often as you like — rows that haven't changed are never counted.
Do you support custom placeholder formats?
Yes. Loclint automatically detects {curly}, {{double}}, %s, printf-style and more, per project.
Won't AI review just add noise?
Every AI issue carries a confidence score, and anything under 75% is hidden by default. Rule checks return the same results every time for the same file. Titles under NDA can be checked with AI review turned off.
Can I use it with translations managed in Excel?
Export the sheet as CSV and upload it. The encoding (UTF-8 or Shift_JIS) is detected automatically.
Is it safe to upload text from an unannounced title?
